These threads always bring out butthurt fans of team Alabama owns.

Alabama has three of the top five backs in the league with Henry being one of the best backs in league history. A great time to be alive.

Invalid because Gibbs transferred in to Bammer and wasn’t developed there.

So Alabama can claim Jalen Hurts as a Super Bowl QB then?

Gibbs being included - does this mean Jalen hurts is OU?

A 1,000 yard rusher for every loss how appropriate

Jalen Hurts is both OU and Alabama; Jahmyr Gibbs is both Alabama and Georgia Tech.

People need to realize in this new era of college football there are going to be a number of star players from the collegiate ranks who played at two or more schools prior to being drafted into the NFL. Gibbs wowed at both Georgia Tech and Alabama with his versatility just as Jalen Hurts did at both Alabama and Oklahoma.

Christian McCaffrey rushed for 200 yards this season. That puts him 138th in the NFL.

In 2020 he rushed for about 200 yards for the season.

In 2021, he rushed for about 450 yards for the season.

In 2022, he rushed for about 1100 yards for the season.

In 2023, he finally did something and rushed for about 1500 yards for the season.

In 2024, back to his normal output with 200 yards for the season.

In short, the guy CAN NOT stay on the field long enough to put himself in any discussion for the best. Hardly the fast track to the HOF.

There were 16 1000-yard rushers this year. In 2007, there were 17.

In 2024, 5 backs eclipsed 1400 yards. In 2007, 1 player did.

In 2024, 29 teams averaged 100 rushing yards or more game. In 2007, only 20 teams did.

Your theory doesn't really track

Yep. QB play has been declining across the league for the last few years, leading to a resurgence of importance of the running back position. Granted it was with an extra game but you came very close to seeing two RBs eclipse 2,000 yards this past season.
