I don't think anyone would argue against that.
The point being is that even with a vaccine, we still have a 'flu season'. There's probably no magical cure for the 'rona so fully expect it to follow cycles similar to the flu. And we simply can't shut down the country every single time it flares up.
Hopefully a vaccine will at least offer some amount of protection to those people that are actually at risk of the more severe affects of COVID. The rest of the general population will be fine.
