I never really thought about him being on the Bama game broadcast but I actually find that might be in fact his destiny. I mean Stabler was on it for years with Eli until he got himself ousted. Pretty sure Tyler Watts had a stint. I remember John Parker did it for a bit. As for Greg, he just skipped it and jumped right to ESPN. Kinda a thing for Bama QB’s I guess.

As much as I appreciate McCarron's contributions to our football program, I was at Bama the same time he was, and it was pretty well-known that he was kind of a douche in a prudish type of way. Which makes this statement spot on most likely:
Mcelroy was cool though. Never acted like he was the starting QB at Bama when I was around him. Very chill.
