There’s more parity right now in the NFC… the AFC was dominated by great quarterbacks in Brady, Manning, Mahomes, Allen, and Jackson
There may be more parity but the AFC QBs are dominating them some nfc teams too

Basically NFC teams should thank god they don’t have those three to deal with

The NFC is the Vanderbilts and Rockefellers.

AFC lineage is the AFL and nouveau-riche.

The merger revolutionized the sport as the AFL was a more exciting brand of football.

There used to be quite a unique difference.... Even Lombardi saying they couldn't compete with the NFL....and along came Broadway Joe.

Losing 13 straight Super Bowls(84-96) by an average score of 38-17 will forever taint the AFC

This was when I was in school. The NFC won every Super Bowl from when I started kindergarten until I graduated high school. Nearly all games were solid beatings, if not epic blowouts.

Back in the day the NFL was more of a ground and pound league whereas the AFL was a forward pass, air it out league.
