Hernandez's career stats erased from NFL.com.

NFL wants no part of this

That seems stupid. The games happened, we saw them.

Aaron Hernandez was in constant fear that someone wanted him dead ... and that's why he stocked up on firearms ... sources close to the former New England Patriots star tell TMZ. We're told ... the stories about Aaron's connections to gang members in Connecticut are real -- because the 23-year-old had joined one back when he was a teenager. Sources connected to Aaron tell us ... he had been trying to move away from the gangster life ever since he signed his fat $40 million contract with the Patriots back in 2012, but it's not as easy as it sounds. In fact, we're told Aaron believed people in the gangster world felt Aaron owed them something ... but it wasn't all about money -- they wanted his time and respect. Sources say ... in the months leading up to the death of Odin Lloyd, Hernandez became paranoid that people from his "old lifestyle" were trying to kill him. It's unclear if Aaron feared scorned friends ... or rivals.

My Mind is Playing Tricks on Me

quote:

At night I can't sleep, I toss and turn
Candle sticks in the dark, visions of bodies being burned
Four walls just staring at a ****
I'm paranoid, sleeping with my finger on the trigger
My mother's always stressing I ain't living right
But I ain't going out without a fight
See, everytime my eyes close
I start sweatin, and blood starts comin out my nose
It's somebody watchin' the ak'
But I don't know who it is, so I'm watchin my back
I can see him when I'm deep in the covers
When I awake I don't see the motherfricker
He owns a black hat like I own
A black suit and a cane like my own
Some might say "take a chill, b"
But frick that shite, there's a **** trying to kill me
I'm pumping in the clip when the wind blows
Every twenty seconds got me peeping out my window
Investigating the joint for traps
Checking my telephone for taps
I'm staring at the woman on the corner
It's fricked up when your mind is playing tricks on you

He legitimately could be the dumbest criminal of all time. His attorney should ask for a competency hearing. It might actually work

This is seriously the defenses best defense. They need to start with,

"Do you think my client would be so stupid as to do this less than a mile from his home? Do you think he would really stop and get bubble gum before driving out to kill someone? Do you think he would really leave a shell casing in his car?....Doesn't it all seem way too coincidental to you? AH destroyed his phone and security tape because he was involved with selling the victim drugs and using drugs. He knew the police would want to search his phone and security tapes, and he was scared of losing his NFL contract because of drug use. That is his only crime here. We believe, and we will demonstrate how Aaron Hernandez was set up for the murder of Oldin Lloyd."

Ray Lewis could come up with something better, I'm sure.

I think AH is the only person that has been arrested which, if that's the case, he got rolled on. Prosecution also eluded to having info from someone that helped piece together that night.

He gets nothing

His contract did not have the "failure to perform" clause that most contracts have. The patriots could possibly still be on the hook for guaranteed money they owe him.

BOSTON (MyFoxBoston.com) -- FOX 25 has learned exclusively that investigators are looking into Aaron Hernandez as a possible suspect in a double murder that happened on July 16, 2012 in downtown Boston.

According to the Boston Police blog from that date, officers responded to the intersection of Shawmut Avenue and Herald Street just after 2 a.m. When they arrived, they found three people had been shot, two fatally, as they sat in a car at a traffic light.

The men were identified as Safiro Furtado and Daniel Abreu. The FOX 25 source said the men, who worked at a cleaning company in Dorchester, had just left a bar in the area.

Hmmm even though it is odd that he is being investigated for something that happened almost a year earlier. At least with the other case where he shot the guy in the eye, the guy had everything set up he just never filed the suit
