I just love the fact that Clemson choked like they always do. They talk every year about how they are on the verge of being one of the "elite" programs, and then they get their asses handed to them 4-5 times a year by mediocre teams. frick Clemson.

Everything you've just said also applies to Texas A&M, except that A&M is never ranked that high even in the preseason.

A&M is irrelevant this decade. Clemson gets mad props every preseason.

its really not hard to understand why. There's a huge power vacuum in the ACC right now, and Clemson has the athletes, recruiting base, facilities, and fanbase to fill in.

That's why Clemson is the number 1 job open right now IMO.

I agree with this.

Tennessee gets my vote for being in the preseaon rankings and dropping out immediately.

I agree too with Auburn's honorable mention. I disagree with the LSU remark though. We did take Alabama to overtime.

Michigan and Tennessee are two of the winningest programs in the country and both had their worst seasons ever; aTm really doesn't have tht much history outside of when they were cheating in the 80s and 90s

I honestly think the ACC might be the best conference in 2 years. Miami and FSU are getting better and better, and teams like UNC and GT are starting to make noise. Then you have VaTech, BC, Clemson, and Wake winning games. Lots of good teams and no really horrible team.
