The "Omaha" that Peyton always yells or the "WHITE 80!" that Romo always yells is for cadence right? Same with Rodgers "3-19"?

Well "Omaha" use to be universal for flipping the play.

Yes. I thought it was "green 19"

Candace's are designed to establish rhythm. In Gus Malzahn's book says he uses his cadences to remind the players where the play is going. His are very simple " red red go" or "black black go." Red means running to the right, black means running to the left but you can't use it to figure out the play because they use the same ones when they throw the ball

The rhythm method is the least effective birth control method.

I am pretty sure OMAHA is used as the "I am ready for the snap" indicator

omaha and other presnap cadences can also be used to tell the offense to stick with the initial play or to switch to the second or third play called within the huddle

or to be dummy cadence that means absolutely nothing

point is if you arent in the huddle, we really can never know what each cadence really means since they can all be changed at a moments notice.

Mike isn't always the MLB. In general, there are 2 types of OL protections: (1) zone schemes with man adjustments and (2) man schemes with zone adjustments. basically setting the Mike allows the C to make his line calls so as to delegate responsibilities to the rest of the players remaining in to protect.

Omaha, at least as P. Manning uses it, is to let the rest of the offense know he has finished making the play call/adjustments and is starting the snap count. With Manning that snap count is often "SET!", which is how he drew so many neutral zone infractions last night.

"Omaha" usually means snap on the next sound, same as "hurry". They change it up a lot though. Several weeks ago, Peyton was using Omaha to snap the ball on the next sound: Omaha Omaha.....SET! Then he changed it up to something else and went Omaha Omaha....SET again but the ball wasn't snapped. Defense jumped offsides and they got a free first down.

As far as Mike goes, my understanding is that the o-line is responsible for the 4 down linemen plus the whoever the QB designates as the Mike. The backs are responsible for any other blitzers that come. So he's basically telling the center what the blocking scheme is going to be.

I have noticed Aaron Rodgers says "three nineteen" a lot, like 90% of the time.

"Green 19" is just the cadence that he uses

I'm just waiting for a LB/CB/safety to point back at the QB and yell, "18's quarterback! 18's quarterback!" I'd get tired of someone pointing and staring at me.

Express Express! Easy Easy!

Heard Cam say "Kentucky Kentucky" yesterday.

What does Drew say most of the time at exact time of snap?... It sounds like "Va-Set!"
