Leadoff single in back to back to back innings that lead to a grand total of 1 run

Oh well, I guess we'll just have to settle for 161-1 this year.

No singing today

good call.

i dont mind the cubs, love wrigley. the (local) fans get a little cocky sometimes, but the cubs have a way of fixing that.

well, as I said, I wouldn't post during the game. Honestly, I passed out before McKutcheon (SP?) hit the bomb off of Dumpster who obviously should've been taken out in the 6th. Just absolutely stupid managing. We have a jackass bold idiot who is terrible at managing an admitedly bad pitching staff. The manager, after the lineup is poted, has about 2-3 decisions that affect the game and Quade was 0-2.

As long as we do better than the Astros, I'll be fine.

Lastly, the freaking Pirates destroyed us last year. McKutcheon is a Cubs Killer. But, let's all be honest. The Pirates blow dick. If the Cubs are going to be a "good team" then they have to beat the worst. We can't do it. We just can't do it.

I'm still hoping we have an overnight recovery and turn this season around, but shite. we're 0-1. 161 games to go

Side Note: Aflonso Soriano needs to be "taken care of" by a mobster so we don't have to pay that slacking retard to play left field anymore.
Aramis Ramirez is 2 years past his waning years as an MLB player. Now, he's just old as shite.
Fukudome can't hit worth donkey balls
etc.
etc.
etc.

I listened to Go Cubs Go on repeat for 35 minutes on the way to and from work today. I was setting myself up for a very, very bad night

Had it on for like 20 minutes straight before my last class before the game started.

On another note, I am pretty convinced I could strike out Soriano if I just throw a curveball six feet outside the strike zone.

or Fukudome, easily. There's no way either of them hit over .250 this year

Well, the first step to getting over your depression is to quit listening to that song. The only time it's tolerable is immediately after a Cubs Win.

Garza gets the start tomorrow correct? If so, really looking forward to wat he can bring. As long as he gets good run support he can 15-17 games in NL
