My first ever HS game my freshman year, our opponent took the opening kickoff to the house and we returned the favor the next kick. Tennessee 1A v. Tennessee 4A.

Those 97-98 teams were good, I went to Northwest during those times. Kyries Hebert and Harry Frank for Eunice were legit. Eunice also brought in basketball in those years. I still remember the Eunice vs Arcadia game in the Northwest Holiday Tournament. Marcus Fizer vs Harry Frank in the post. Those big boys had everyone on their feet with their monsterous dunks. If I’m not mistaken Arcadia’s PG that yr was supposed to play basketball for LSU.

Those were some of the best teams in Acadiana. Harry Frank was a legit 6-7 monster! Too bad they had to play JC in the dome both years.
