The two sports have very different levels of risk as far as head injuries. A fair amount of concussions do happen in basketball, but it is nothing compared to the constant contact in football.
I also think "excessive contact" is being applied pretty liberally in some of these games. You can make an argument for the State guy in this game but the elbow in the 1st round was a bit ridiculous IMO.

I have Michigan State winning it all in my bracket. Out of the 50 people in my group pool, I'm the only one. They probably won't, but oh well.
