I wonder if Hocevar has anything to say to Heim for spinning him?

Congrats to Heim but man, this Toyota domination is getting old. Thought Larson had something for them at one point but I think that Toyota is just kinder on the tires.

Larson would win every week if he were in a Toyota. He’s easily the best Chevy driver this year.

Good race even if it seemed to last forever. Prime has been great.

One gripe would be - stop building this race up like it’s a crown jewel and “next to Daytona, the biggest race of the year” as Latarte put it late. I bet it’s a cool backdrop but it’s not that big.

Sucks that this is Prime’s final race. Also means no more Danielle Trotta

Prime needs more races. Now we got back to more commercials every race.

It turned out better than I expected. I didn't know coming back was an option but if it is, I will definitely go next year. I'm sure it's not cheap to prepare a street course but they should be able to cut some costs with Navy labor.

I agree. Lots of action at that track. Damn shame that Shane was cleaned out by someone else’s mess. You know a road race finish where he’s not a factor feels unfinished.

Corey Heim has as many wins as Ty Gibbs now lol. And it’s taken till now to get him in cup full time.

Corey’s a more talented racer than Ty. And you know that chaps Ty’s arse. I’m here for it.

I’ll eat some crow. I thought that it was a successful weekend 7/10. The final laps for all three series were spectacular. The only thing that brought down this weekend was SVG crashing and the two long red flags on Saturday.

Ranking them: Trucks, Cup, then O Reilly

In other news, Gragson and the #91 had a stern talk after the race. The #91 driver came off as a douchebag and Noah was mature not to sucker punch him.

I thought other way around. Noah goes up to him and immediately is like “what the frick?”

I’d have the same response if I was KMag. Only thing he didn’t say was “suck my balls mate”

You should go find the video. Gragson was driving like a clown out there. Kept brake checking and swerving at KMag. Once Kevin had a window to stick his nose in, he did. And he didn’t lift.

Gragson has no business being in cup at this point.

This is the problem with Nascar. Instead of just saying attendance or sold out they have to try and DEI it. No way do they know this data. Mexico would argue too.

And Indy races get more. Thats not a big number for 3 races plus they ran out of food and water, poor planning.

I just hate they keep trying to chase demographics instead of focusing on racing and the crap car and fixing it. Their priorities are misplaced.

NOAP and Trucks were great races, besides red flag time.

Also, too many wasted laps from yellows and stages. They shoulda made a shortcut halfway thru course for yellows.

I’m siding with Magnussen here. Gragson is a clown.

I have a solution for your caution lap dilemma.

Have each track determine an amount of laps minimum required to go from caution to green. If it’s determined a caution will go longer than what is left until the end of the stage, declare the stage over. Award the points and move on. I don’t understand why nascar doesn’t put this in the rule book. Races would get back going faster. Beats running caution laps to run caution laps.

Just end stage 2 laps early and then you can start next stage 2 laps early.

Make the window 3 laps or less a caution comes out it ends stage.
