With the new points format, I thought drivers would retaliate or get pissed off at another driver who ruined his day, but that hasn’t happened. I wish these drivers had some character that would make them stand out, but they’re all too vanilla.

Bubba and his typical tantrum cost him 8 spots. But he cost a ton of drivers spots and teams money all because he can’t drive. You can tell his anger is boiling over because his red headed teammate is running circles around him and he knows he’s the token DEI hire by MJ.

Looks like Alan is safe for now. But the 9 car sucked most of race until they threw dice in early pit stop. I was sure it would backfire with a caution but it didn’t. Once Chase got out front that was it. He navigated lapped cars perfectly.

And Hamlin took out Blaney I hope to see some payback at some point.

They have got to change out the booth with NOAP team. They have zero enthusiasm and are bad at describing race. Also need to swap production crews too.

Cup is off next weekend but Trucks on Fri night and NOAP on Sat

I get tired of Bubba. He always gets a pass for his emotions.

Shane van Gisbergen

Crazy a world class talent would adapt to a different racing discipline.

This is what F1 is doing to their sport. We seen it in Nascar and they had a free lesson to learn and didn’t.

Nascar will never get back to what it was. You have a bland racing car where the junior series is leaps and bounds better car racing wise. Throw in a bland booth and bad TV production.

Martinsville TV viewers
2015-2026 were on FS1.

Average TV viewers by year through race 7.
2026 is the lowest.
Down over 7 million vs 2008.

NOAP is the big winner so far. Best racing too

NASCAR TV viewership from Martinsville last weekend:

-- Cup Series got 2.39 million viewers, down slightly from 2.42 million last year.

-- O'Reilly Series got 1.2 million viewers, up 18 percent over last year's 1.01 million

They aren’t going to penalize their DEI driver. Had that been Ross they would have. He flat out wrecked 1/3 of the field on purpose because of road rage. This is the same person who assaulted Larson and a track worker and got off light. He’s always been like this. Without the Red Head that team is going nowhere.

I recall when Chase hooked Hamlin and caught a 1 race suspension. But Bubba takes out cars in purpose and crickets from Nascar.

That truck race last night was good until Nascar threw a caution in the middle if a pit cycle. You go 2 laps down when pitting. A car did a 360 spin but had it straight and they threw the flag. Ruined what would have been a good strategy ending. The ending was fun as Helm had a right front going flat but he held in for the win. I wanted to see strategy play out as the early pitters had more speed and it would have been interesting where everyone shook out when done.
