Maybe. But he turns 27 next month. Only 9 players have ever won their 1st Slam after turning 27. With Wawrinka (2014 AO at 29) and Theim (2020 US Open at 27, Covid year). It's also going to be especially difficult considering the two of the best in the game right are 23 (Sinner) and 21 (Alcaraz) and don't look to be going anywhere any time soon.

On that note. I think Zverev, 27, blew his best chance he'll ever see again this year at the French.

Yes these guys are still capable of winning a Slam with some luck and injuries, but it will be an uphill climb the rest of their career.

I thought he was younger. Guess your right.

For a minute I thought Alcaraz was going to separate himself from the pack as number 1 but Sinner is doing it now and doesn't look to be slowing down any time soon. Fun to watch the future of the sport as a fan of the game
