Webb has a concussion and is undergoing extensive scans to see if there is any damage to his neck.

I really don't like Barcia but hate to see him or any rider injured. That Webb injury was scary as shite too.

Ryan Hughes and a few doctors actually proved that neck braces are more dangerous. The caused many collarbone and shoulder injuries. They also found that they limited head movement, this the ability to react and make the bike move.
Ryan Hughes has some good videos about the neck brace and how it inhibits a rider’s ability to move and adjust his body and the bike.

Finally got around to watching Nashville last night. Holy hell Webb got jacked. Glad he is OK. I didnt see him taking the championship away from Tomas but you just never know. Eli should finish it next week at home
I didnt hear what Barca's injury was but he could be finished for a while as well.

Actually, the neck brace caused many other injuries. There were guys breaking thoracic vertebrae from the lower part of the brace driving into the spine.
There is a reason they disappeared from the sport.
Webb’s primary injury was a concussion from the impact on of the bike into the base of his skull. You could see it knock him out immediately.
Ryan Hughes sold me on the neck brace and we quit wearing them after I listened to the whys. The limitation of mobility is what sold me.

Wow! When did that happen? Or is it just an excuse. He has ridden like crap since Atlanta/north of child.
Word is that he has been riding MotoX for the last 3-4 weeks with no Supercross practicing.
The last two rounds are going to be Sexton and Tomac with possibly AP or AC getting a podium. Nichols is the only other factory rider. It’s crazy!

Tomac 1st - Sexton 5th
Tomac 2nd - Sexton 8th
Tomac 3rd - Sexton 10th
Tomac 4th - Sexton 12th
Tomac 5th - Sexton 13th
Add a position to each rider down to 14th for Tomac.
If he gets 14th and Sexton grabs 22nd, he'll clinch the title tonight.

Far too often SX is a race of attrition.
In just a few weeks we’ve lost Plessinger, Anderson, Webb, Barcia, Tomac...
Not the way you want to win it, but Sexton did rack up plenty wins this season (and crashed out of a few). Points were pretty close without the BS -7 penalty. And Eli has a history of being the fastest but blowing championships.

Unbelievable.....what a bummer for Tomac. To go into tonight's race thinking he'd be clinching another Championship to maybe a career being over. Sure he can comeback but I don't see how he could be ready in time for next year's Supercross season. Brutal
