What a shame for AP. He is such a good guy. I met him at Loretta’s about 6 years ago. He spent 10-15 minutes with me just shooting the bull.
Did anyone else catch Coopers comment on the podium about the penalty. Sexton jumped that triple on the Red Cross flag. It will be interesting to see if a penalty is handed down, or if the flag/lights came on right as he was jumping. There was a Kawasaki rolling it as he was jumping.

That was a gut-wrenching loss for AP. No worse way to lose.

He had a good lead he should've slowed down a bit and been more cautious at the end of the race.

Sexton got a 7 point penalty.

LOL @ Plessinger. That was terrible.
Merely a choke job of the ages. He has been watching Sexton.

And Sexton loses even when he wins lol.

I get that he should have rolled those jumps but the 7 point penalty seems way too harsh.

Did you listen to his interview after the race? He said he sat down through that turn the entire race and stuck his leg out, but decided to stand through it that lap never suspecting his foot would catch the dirt and throw him off.
There wasn’t a rider or person in that stadium that wasn’t disappointed for him.

Absolutely disappointed for him. But that does not make it any less of a choke job
He is a good dude. Really changed his attitude from a few years back

It is crazy how much better Barcia rides when he is not getting into altercations and trying to crash everyone out there. As soon as that stuff starts, he starts moving backwards. I think it gets him so pissed, he cant concentrate on racing

Marvin got the exact same penalty for that exact situation when he won Seattle a few years ago.

Baby Deegs owes Smith a front wheel and Jordan’s gonna collect sooner or later. Kid fking with a grown mans money usually doesn’t end well, Brian better have a talk

Deegan has been all “I’m just going out there to learn and get some laps in” until last night. He’s 17, but he’s out there with grown men who will be ready to check him. He’ll learn.

It’s amazing that Barcia didn’t absolutely kill Sexton in the bowl turn after the big double. When Sexton stayed outside, And Barcia then headed for the inside, I said oh crap. Barcia surprised everyone and slammed on his brakes instead of slamming Sexton.
Someone must have warned Barcia after Daytona because I can promise if that had been #21 in front of him, he kills him!

I have a lot of respect for why Brian Deegan has accomplished over his life, but I don’t think he’s having that conversation unless Star makes them.
Deegan was always a very aggressive rider. He truly believed rubbing was racing, and that metal mellicia crew was a rough crowd. Remember, 90’s racing was much wilder than anything today.
There are a lot of amateur kids who don’t like Deegan. Most blamed that on his success and money, but those who know will tell you it’s because of his and the families attitude. He cost himself a title at LL’s a few years ago because of stupid stuff just like he pulled with Jordan Smith.

Bobby Regan isn’t gonna push that conversation. In fact I’d bet it’s just the opposite and Jordan has warned against retaliation and if the beef intensifies he’ll get cut loose. It’s all fun until he gets bounced into the bleachers and an ambulance ride then the story will change. What’s gonna happen the next time somebody faster comes up behind him moving to the front. Do they play games trying to get around or drip kick him and avoid the hassle?
I like the kid but JS7 he ain’t, yet, and that’s not the way

Should be some great racing tonight. I know the 250 west coast riders ready for a gate drop.
Hopefully AP can redeem himself.

This could be anybody’s race tonight.

You can see the progression of your boy Yoder, he held the pace pretty good for awhile.
McAdoo isn’t the brightest candle in the box.
Jett’s brain seems to have caught up with his talent and work ethic.
Chase, Eli and Cooper did what the do
Good racing

Unfortunately.
Really wanted Wrexton tight in the points race, but after last week and this race, it’ll be interesting to see where his head is at the next race. Wish Barcia woulda got Webb at the end.
