Was wondering why Tiafoe was practicing right before the match was scheduled.

Is that Taylor Townsend? She's still pretty far from slim.

Is she that good. I should probably start paying passive attention to the women's game. You could have told me Swiatek was 20 in the world and I would have believed you.

The only really betable odds for her for IW was to win without dropping a set. She's -162 to win the French. She doesn't have that raw power of prime Serena. But she's overwhelmingly the best in the world and only 21 years old.

Wonder if he would stand further back if he could.

Daniil escapes 0-40 for a second time. Amazing level from both.

And now a 3rd time. Don’t recall seeing this before.

Townsend?

Super underrated doubles player. Totally carried Leylah yesterday and would have won with a decent partner.

I'm actually a big fan of her game. I was just being a dick.

You can literally see the writing on the ball on Norrie’s backhand. Straight knuckleball.

Could we see Fritz vs Carlos in the semi's?

Looks like it unless Sinner screws it up, although I have a feeling Stan might give Sinner a battle.

What a hold by Paul to get up 6-5 in the 3rd.

ETA: FAA saves 6 match points (5 on serve) to advance. Extreme pain.

The Phoenix Challenger draw is better than some 250s.

Berrettini vs Ivashka in the 1st round, Monfils playing his way back from injury. Only 13/32 players in the draw are outside of the Top 100, and all but 5 players are ranked 120 or better.

I want to bet these games, but it's impossible to tell who's going to be giving a high level of effort. Most the guys are either using it to stay warm leading up to Miami or looking forward to the Miami Qualifiers.

Yeah good luck trying to gauge motivation level there. I don’t know anything about the courts either. That said, I don’t think Albot should ever be +200 vs. either of the Ymers anywhere. My default position would be dog or nothing.

How did I miss that one? Mikael Ymer as a 4 game favorite is an auto-fade.

And his brother Elias Ymer should never be a 4-game favorite.

Tiafoe just breezed through Norrie. 6-4, 6-4 but it wasn't even that close. Tiafoe makes it to the semis of an ATP Masters 1000 tournament for the 1st time in his career.

RIP my Norrie futures and me for not hedging out.

eta: If Tiafoe goes all the way and wins he will jump into the Top 10. Anyone have an idea of when the last time the US had 2 men in the Top 10 at the same time?
