Carl is well spoken, put him and Bush in booth for one race they would be awesome. I think he’d like to come back. One thing people forget is his later years there was many rumors he was roided up, and he had some temper issues
Carl was excellent today. He seems to have a natural knack for broadcasting.
Haven't heard the whispers about roids but I could see that considering how jacked he was. There have always been rumors that he is a two-faced prick and he wasn't really well-liked in the garage due to that. Kenseth especially. Don't know how true that is but it's always been out there.

Berry is the replacement for Harvick.
I think Carl is happily retired. Don't really see him in a firesuit again unless its a one-off truck ride imo.

Great pics! Hope you had a great time there! So, whats the stand fans sentiment on Ross? Are they getting tired of him? Once he loses most fans then sponsor issues start to pop up and thats when he’ll be humbled. He acts like he’s been there for over a decade and is entitled. I am reading quite a lot about him and not in a good way.

He got a good bit of cheers during driver intros. Fans cheered when he got the lead. Only heard Larson fans booing him when they wrecked.

I don’t think Ross realizes how many enemies he’s making. Hasn’t won in over a year with great cars, because he hasn’t learned how to drive.
How long until Melonhead's crew chief goes all Harry Hogg?
He's hit everyone else out there.

If Kyle Busch didn’t bounce off the wall and overshot his pits, I think he could have given Byron a fight for the wall. I was listening to KB’s radio when he hit the wall and said the car immediately went tight.

So many drivers beat themselves today. They started racing drivers too hard instead of the track. And others took advantage.
One comment Awesome Bill made which was very observant, the track lost 2-3 feet at top with safer barrier. Yet bottom is same, so less room to race in corners.

Chase only 63 points out of 16th.

Bubba big mad at resetting field. Here’s explanantion
As far as the 4, 9 and 6 getting their positions for the final restart ... NASCAR kept them in their positions from the scoring loop before the caution came out because they slowed for the crash/caution as instructed and didn't spin as they kept reasonable speed.
And yes, Chase has time to get there on points but he himself said he needs to earn it via win instead of points. But I’m sure he’ll take it either way. However, you need race wins and stage points to make final 4 usually, so he really does need to win.

Oh I agree, I just think it's pretty amazing how he is only 63 points out of the transfer spot and he missed 6 races. He's been consistent as frick, no wins yet, but he tends to get those in bunches so I'm not worried about him not winning. It's a matter of when, not if, and how many he'll RIP off in a 6 week span once he can notch his first one.

He is getting roasted online. And you didn’t see it but TV kept showing a couple who had Ross and Kyle shirts on. After the wreck the lady (Ross fan) said “Lets go home” to her husband. I imagine thats an interesting household after Ross wrecking Kyle last 3 weeks.

The red is deducting penalties the next race.

Larson said to hell with the Trackhouse no push policy.

Wow I did not realize Bubba is 15th in points. He’s strung together a couple of good finishes

It's all fun and games until you poke the bear. Ross Chastain has Rick Hendricks on his radar now and it won't end well. Any thought on championship runs this season you can go ahead and forget. Ross getting through any one race unscathed will be victory enough.
On top of that, Hendrick and Childress make the Chevy engines Ross uses. Poking drivers is one thing and that can end up bad in itself. Poking a mild manner owner and business partner of Nascar, to the point that he says we are coming for you, is quite another.

Yup, they “share” information as team Chevy. Ross has made too many enemies and no amount of I’m sorry will fix it, only on track actions. He has cost teams millions of dollars in wrecked cars not counting lost positions and wins. Trackhouse needed to have talked to him but its evident they don’t care. They soon might though.
