Agreed. Not sure what time is best to hit night in Vegas and the primary markets, but this is shite.

F1 group is trying to rival MLB postseason in dumb scheduling decisions

Man, where did f1 hurt you? Show me on the doll.
Getting rid of cig sponsors
Getting rid of v-10s
tilkedromes and the emasculation of bad arse tracks
selling out the traditional europen F1 heartland for the middle east and china (remember Hockenheim, European GP, French GP?)
Getting rid of Grid Girls
F1 wokeness
The Halo
I could go on

Tilke had some losers (Sochi), but Sepang, Bahrain, COTA are all winners. Yas and Marina Bay aren't exactly terrible for "street" tracks, just a product of what he had to deal with.

I feel like they are going to introduce "the chase" soon.

@AustinCindric: "You buy a general admission ticket (at NASCAR), and you can come take a selfie with your favorite driver and get an autograph nine times out of 10, whereas if I go to [a] Formula 1 race, I'm never seeing Lewis Hamilton."

Vegas resident John Megna and his two kids "each paid $2,258 for three-day race tickets. To only catch a few minutes of F1 drivers practicing before being forced to leave left a bad taste in Megna’s mouth, calling it 'an absolute disaster for the fans.'"

Agree with most things except
1) cig sponsors - no need to "cancel" the epic era but need to move on, and
2) the halo - understand the argument both ways but for better or worse it's been life saving in multiple occurrences and open wheel series have all adopted some similar standard

The FIA has lengthened the DRS zone along the Strip by 50 metres.
Its activation point is now 870 metres before Turn 14 (it was 820 metres)

You're an insufferable prick. I wish you'd hop on daddy's plane and frick off out of this thread.

If anyone is arguing against the halo they are too stupid to even talk shite to.

FIA to drivers - you couldn't stop on the ice track anyway, good luck now!

Lotta people yammering about how the regulations should force a 90-minute delay to FP3 and qualy, but I have yet to see any official announcement, and we're less than an hour from FP3. ESPN has not changed their schedule.
Considering how Sainz got totally screwed by the regulations, you'd think they'd be sticklers for the regulation that says FP3 must start at least 18 hours after the end of FP2.

Doesn’t look like ESPN or ESPN2 are carrying FP3? What a crock of shite.
I can watch in the F1 App, but for this being the spectacle they’ve billed it as, how is it not on your main channels?

My box shows it on ESPNU at 10:30pm. And Quali at 1:55am on ESPN

C’mon…they’re not putting practice on instead of the NBA or CFB…
