Fly out on Thursday

Got lucky with lotteries:

Saturday, Sept 21st

France v Argentina Tokyo Stadium, Tokyo

Sunday, Sept 22nd

Ireland v Scotland, International Stadium, Yokohama

Thursday, Sept 26th

England v USA, Kobe Misaki Stadium, Kobe

Saturday, Sept 28th

Japan v Ireland, Shizuoka Stadium Ecopa, Shizuoka

Sunday, Sept 29th

Australia v Wales, Tokyo Stadium, Tokyo

Monday, Sept 30th

Scotland v Samoa, Kobe Misaki Stadium, Kobe

Wednesday, Oct 2nd

France v USA, Fukuoka Hakatanomori Stadium, Fukuoka

Thursday, Oct 3rd

Ireland v Russia, Kobe Misaki Stadium, Kobe

Hoping the US does not embarrass themselves, and somehow Ireland get past the QF (not likely) for once.

Tough draw for the USA.

Our only hope:

USA v Tonga
12:45 AM, Sun Oct 13, 2019

USA has 3W and 22L all time in world cups

wins:
1987 v Japan
2003 v Japan
2011 v Russia

2019 opponents

England
France
Argentina
Tonga

Russia is by far the worst team in the tourney, and is only there after Romania and Spain had eligibility disqualifications. Russia's last 3 games - lost at home to Connacht 42-12, lost at home to Jersey Reds (D2 club from England 35-22, lost to Italy 85-15.

Namibia has a chance to win their first game ever at the RWC when they play Canada. As stated prior, they have been bad, they are getting injuries left and right.

By the 4th game, Namibia may be able to get them.

USA should get over Tonga, but the rest ....woof

Pool A and Pool C have the only intrigue on who will get through in my opinion.

Pool A, Ireland v Scotland to kick it off. Ireland should win and then put pressure on Scotland to beat Japan. Can Japan get through? I still think Ireland and Scotland come out.

Pool C. This is my dream scenario. France beats Argie and then have a desperate Argie knowing they have to beat England.
