USA has gotten lucky with some mental mistakes so far.
Really dont like either kit from the teams. USA is just bland and Ive never liked seeing England in red.

Clear red on Quill. That was a dogshit tackle.
USA Rugby is always the worst most boring games.

$200 at NBC gets you high production value

What a boneheaded redcard. Shoulder charge to the head after the other team knocked it on and already down 38-0.
'Member when the US beat Scotland and USA Rugby was rising. I 'member. Just goes to show how far USA has to go to be relevant.
Just have to survive these next 2 matches against France and Argentina and hope for a complete performance against Tonga. If they can finish the tournament with any win or points that could be huge momentum going forward.

Spoilers: England vs USA
Just finished the match. I read an interview with Gold earlier this week where he said "we won't try to play an expansive game, but there are a few areas where we feel like we can go toe to toe with the best in the world and we will focus on that."
My question is, what exactly did you think you were good at? This US team looked just as, if not more, outclassed than many past squads manned by amateurs.
The scrummaging, holy frick...
I never had hopes of beating England or France, but I did want to believe the hype about MLR significantly raising our level of competitiveness.

Yeah, but so impressed with Japan thus far. Extremely disciplined rugby.
Eta: it's happening!!

Big game about to start. I question the Aussie lineup bit.
