That was terrible by Fids. Intermission came at a good time though. Regroup and somehow kill the rest of this thing. Would be nice if the Preds could draw an early penalty in the 2nd

Still a dumb format regardless of why it was changed. If it doesn't improve the product then there is no reason to change it. No other league has this format for a reason. Teams that dominate the regular season should be rewarded with an easier path to the Stanley Cup Finals. Not to mention the fact I was merely responding to someone else who brought it up first.

I'm sorry you can't figure that out. You win division you're guaranteed 2 home ice series. The old way they reseeded and it was dumb
You've complained about it before in this thread. Because we discussed if Calgary would have more Cups if not with Edmonton as they were 2nd best usually but had to beat Edmonton in Division Finals yearly.

Except there is often a much weaker division in each conference that gets a higher seed than it should. Just like this year. I get there is more emphasis on winning the division. But that doesn't mean it's the best way to crown a champion.

No, I just call it how I see it. Wasn't even complaining about the start times of many of the games, questionable penalties, or any of NBCSN's analysts.
