The Caps won a game in regulation in which they took a defensive zone faceoff with 10 seconds left in the game. Thats not supposed to happen. And of all the players to pot the GWG... Beags!!!

Hope that guy is alright. The toughness of hockey players amazes me. Just the strength it takes to go out there on four or five day road trips with back to back games and simply keep skating around

I wish more players would wear the face and ear visor, but it will never happen unless it’s mandated in youth hockey. I remember MacTavish playing his last year with Blues without even wearing a helmet. Amazing.

Good to hear that. I had a serious eye accident a long time ago, so I don’t like to see anyone not wear a face visor. I wasn’t aware that ear visors were on helmets now, but it’s clear in this instance why they are available.

I read that almost every Canadian team visits vegas on a weekend this year
T-Mobile arena is damn nice and the area around it (not even the strip) is great.

Would be a nice weekend getaway. We complain about winter here, but it’s nothing to what Canada gets. I’d still like to see a Blues game up there someday.
