Gonna suck to see the Reds lose him. I get the feeling he is severely underrated nationally by fans, but he's a top 5 pitcher
Future Red Sox right there.
Him or Jordan Zimmerman.

Unless Greinke gets hurt, I think he will opt out.

I just hope Daniels opens up those checkbooks for the Rangers because they need some help
Let Feliz go as far as I'm concerned. And Detwiler should be gone before the year is up - horrible. The Rangers need a lot of help on the field and on the mound. I know this season is a lost one and no reason to rush the minors up. With that said, I sure hope some of those guys are as good as advertised (Gallo and Chi Chi).

The Peralta contract fits in the AL
When he has even more trouble with range, u can move him to 2b and dh a little.
But in NL, Cards are set at 3b, and unless wong flops, set at 2b. And no DH
I did say he brings power, which in this lineup makes him on of the top power hitters, its the last 2 years i had a problem with.
Cardinals usually dont give those deals out, they like the short contracts on vets.

lol what
Peralta is a really good defensive SS. His defensive metrics are amazing. His UZR was 3rd in the majors at SS last season behind only Andrelton and JJ Hardy. 14th in 2013, 3rd in 2012, and 2nd in 2011.

Price and Fowler will both be Cubs. Sorry. All accounts have said Fowler loves in it Chicago and Price is on record saying he'd love to be a part of a championship in Chicago, and that was before we hired Maddon.

I don't like UZR for a single season.

It's a metric that weighs how many runs a player prevents over an average player at the same position

Peralta looks so lousy at SS because he is pretty big for the position and does not look fluid, but he is effective. He is no Simmons, Hardy, Tulo, or Crawford, but he plays good defense. In theory, Wilmer Flores could turn out to be Peralta if everything pans out.

Yea that one confused me as well, what's he supposed to be doing winning batting titles and homer crowns??
