Missed most of the thread last night. Great game. Will be interesting to see a rematch in tCCG if both teams are fortunate enough to make it.

If we are fortunate enough to make it to tCCG I think it will be a completely different ballgame.

This was a night game in Madison with Wisconsin coming off a bye week.

It was also their Super Bowl. If Ohio State lost last night they could still easily work back into the playoff picture. A Wisconsin loss meant that those dreams are gone.

Wisconsin won't be coming off an extra week of preparation and the game wont be played at one of the best home environments in all of college football.

Come on now.

Our WRs need to get better separation.

We don't have a burner to get down field. Noah Brown is a hell of a player, but he's not beating anyone by two steps down the field.

We actively tried to get Samuel involved, I think he was effective most of the time even though they knew it was coming.

I get what people are saying, but JT was 2 drops away from having a huge night in the air. I feel like the WRs got separation and then just didn't make the play. JT missed Clark right at the 5 on another potential TD (the one play of rain the entire night)

Agreed. They weren't separating early but as the game went on things were fine. Buckeyes won the second half and OT 24-7 which is pretty dominating on the road.

I believe the drives were Int in the end zone, TD, TD, Field Goal, TD. I'm not counting the end of game to run out the clock to get to OT.

That's pretty damned efficient offense and with the exception of a bizarre two minutes and eighteen second rainstorm that led to the INT it probably would have been even worse.

Wisconsin needed to be up 20-6 at half and then do a decent drive to start the 3rd.

Your overthinking it. Wisconsin was winning in 4th quarter. Everything lead up to that is irrelevant. You make 1 more stop and then run the clock out by moving the chains. That's it.

If Wisconsin works their way back to the Big Ten Championship Game and wins, then what happens?

Do they make the playoff over a 12-1 Michigan or Ohio State?

Could get messy. They would be 1-1 against whoever they beat in the championship game on the season. They would have just won the game that matters more.

Then again, Wisconsin's schedule has been pretty brutal. Who knows how good/meh that LSU win will look in November, though.

I mean is likely to happen in the SECCG as well. Bama may be 1 loss or 0, and Tennessee still is in good position to make the SECCG. Tennessee did NOT play well (Wisky has been very competitive in their two losses) yesterday but they were down to 3rd stringers at LB and Bama just zone read them to death.

Could create some chaos

Who do you think would go under those circumstances?

I still think they'd send Alabama over Tennessee. Not sure about the Big Ten.

Excuses? I guess that's your interpretation. There is no need to apologize for a win over a top ten team on the road.

One team had an extra week to prepare and came up with a fantastic game plan. The other team adjusted at halftime and got the win. Capiche?

The shifting the strength of the formation right before the snap seemed to mess with us the entire game.

Tressel used to do that all the time when we went with two tight ends.

I was hoping we'd just slide our 1 and 3 techs and just switch responsibilities. I understand that's probably what they wanted us to do, I just felt when our D swapped they weren't set half the time and got blown off the ball.
