Imagine McHale and Parish trying to play with Golden St. We'd all feel bad for them trying to watch that.

I wouldn't feel bad for GS. Their shooting would at least keep them competitive.

1986 Walton would get ran out of the gym, literally, in today’s NBA.

He’d be nice sub off the bench for 15 minutes but the more mobile Cs as well as the smaller lineups that HOU, GSW, etc deploy would push him off the court.

Bill Walton and Bird playing together is what basketball is all about.

Damn, those two worked the pick and roll like they owned the patent on it.

Duncan played power forward because of Robinson during his days there until Robinson retired.

His quote was one-two center punch. You had Parish and then he'd go out and you then had Walton.

I know what he said and Duncan played center when Robinson wasn't on the floor which gave the Spurs a 1-2 punch at center

We've seen 39-2 twice in a span of 8 years recently.

Not to mention the Cavs were 39-1, sat all their starters Lebron included, and lost their final game by 1 in OT. It's not like we've never come close to 40-1 again.
this was before everybody got hyperaware about rest, and "scheduled losses"...

Those Celtic teams from the 81and 84 and 86 were all better than any cavs teams that Bron has been on..........
