For clarification I believe most reasonable people would not rank Larry Bird ahead of Kareem or Magic

No he was sorry. He took himself out of games to avoid fouling out. He would pass out of an open dunk to try for an assist to the get a triple double. In the playoffs always folded like a paper bag at the slightest sign of struggle
