The Celtics have won several close games to some bad teams. Its shocking they beat the Warriors the other night, but they just might be a bad matchup for GSW, as much as that could possibly exist. They just don't stand out to me in any particular way, especially on offense as it seems its just Kyrie bringing over his same style from the Cavs, just minus LeBron.

Doug McDermott (former member of the OKC "Russ has no one" ensemble) 5/7 from 3pt tonight for the NY Knicks.

Enes Kanter 12 pts 14 Reb (5 off reb) for NYK.

Oladipo 29 pts, 9 reb, 7 assists, 7 steals in a win against Orlando.

Domantas Sabonis with 10 pts, 4 reb in 20 minutes of play against ORL.

My point was just that a few days ago you were batting it around that he is subpar, but hedging a bit. Now, you definitely think there is a problem. From this:

quote:

Real talk though: I’m not sure what it is but something is wrong with Russ.

Explosiveness is still there but he just seems...off. I’ve watched him for so long now it’s hard to verbalize but something is there. And it’s nothing like frustration with teammates. You can tell the trust each other a whole lot.

...

No it’s not that. It’s almost like watching a guy coming back from injury that is just not in rhythm yet. Except there’s no injury you know? It’s weird man.

to this:

quote:

Not gonna try to hide it: Westbrook has been bad to start the year.

If he was playing even somewhat to his norm, OKC would probably be around 10-5 or so. He’s had a hand in most of the losses (all but 1 has been single digit loss and many are blown leads) mostly because of being really bad in the 4th quarter. Ironically he was the 2nd most efficient player in crunch time last year.

Hope he gets it going and quickly.

Cue up another bad loss for OKC where they at one point lead big.

I give up.

Outside of game 2 loss vs Jazz, this has literally been how every single loss has gone down.
