Well why would USC pass OSU at this point? They were behind them and play a worse team next week?

ND still has a prayer I guess for sure

In 2014 Ohio State was behind Baylor and played a worse team yet you I'm guessing you didn't have a problem then

CBS just said that "ohio state might get a taste of their own medicine" in favor of Bama

The big 12 screwed itself when OU lost that day. That cost those teams a top win

3 top ten wins. How many does Notre Dame have? 0?

SC upsetting Clemson could be another wrench.

Of course CBS said that.

I think the precedent for this Bama team is 2015 OSU and I’ve said that 20 times. OSU had a better win than anything Bama has this year actually

OSU would be Stanford in this scenario

SC sucks. Committee realizes this. USC keeps winning and has permanently stayed just outside the Top 10. They aren't moving them up or down...just meh, sit here they're saying and go gentle into the night.

id favor Ohio State but its like 70/30

the only wildcard is that Iowa loss - not sure if the committee has ever put in a team which lost so badly?

it would also be the first time ever they put in a team with 2 losses.

What does that have to do with NDs schedule being tougher?

Of course it's CBS.

Not ABC.

USC is basically in the same scenario as Ohio State was in 2014. Ohio State got in over Baylor because Ohio State had a "better loss". Well now USC has better losses than Ohio State

IF ND wins out...USC could have an argument if they win the Pac-12 and revenge Wazzu and blow them out.

But USC (while winning) hasn't looked impressive.

I know OSU got blown out by Iowa and USC only got blown out by ND...a far better team.

But OSU has looked impressive in some wins. USC hasn't.

You can kind of tell the Committee doesn't think much of USC despite their record. Pac-12 is out.
