I completely agree, but at the same time, there are a lot of new investors not just flooding the board but the market in general. It's absolutely not AT's job to baby everyone here but it's also not going to stop when every new investor chimes in and says "Is X still a good buy? Should I put my 500 dollars in it now or am I too late?"

And then he turns around and asks everyone how they did with his picks.

He’s not dumb. He knows what he’s doing and how his picks are being used.

Wow, ZOM bumped up the offering from 13 million shares to 90 million!

Zomedica Prices Increased Public Offering at $1.90 a Share
BY Dow Jones & Company, Inc.
— 6:27 AM ET 02/09/2021
Zomedica Corp. (ZOM) said that due to demand, the underwriter of its previously announced public offering has agreed to increase the size of the offering and purchase 91.3 million common shares at $1.90 a share.

The closing of the offering is expected to occur on or about Thursday. H.C. Wainwright & Co. is acting as the sole book-running manager for the offering.

Zomedica (ZOM) has granted to the underwriter a 30-day option to purchase up to 13.7 million additional common shares at the public offering price.

The proceeds are expected to be $173.5 million, the company said.

As I said yesterday, they have a shelf out there - it is not more than pushing a button to rev up the shares at this price.

I'd have to imagine someone wanting to buy 90 million shares is a good thing, not a bad thing. Or this different and actually a regular public offering

How does this effect $ZOM longterm though? I'd imagine it's good for them to raise capital at present, correct?

Long term, yes. Short term, wouldn't be surprised to see some frantic selling.

The low dollar offering dilutes the price, temporarily. (Selling 90 million at below current price offering naturally lowers the price.) Presumably, once it bases out, it will come back up. At least that is my understanding. Short term drop.

That 'someone' is the general public - not a third party. An underwriting arranges it, but those shares hit the market.

It is an extremely smart move by management.

Yep I highly doubt you’ll see this drop to the direct offering price. I expect this to rebound very quickly and return to 2.70plus.

It’s a sign of management stoking while the iron is hot. Does that mean they think the stock has topped out for a while or do they need the capital immediately? Only time will tell.
