Holy crap. Not to bring up bad memories but have you calculated how much you would be worth right now if you would have held the shares?

You aren't bringing up anything that I don't think about regularly. That holding would have topped out at around 2.2 million a couple of years ago and would be worth just a hair under 2 million today. I keep hoping I'll stumble into another one of those one day...

I’m guessing that you got caught by some site that preached buying options? Yeah, that is gambling

Read something somewhere about making a ton of money playing Earnings Reports and thought, hey, I can do that. In hindsight of course, might as well put it on black at the casino.

To date:

Worst - ABBV. Down 17% but holding and steadily lowering cost basis. Will continue to collect dividends and not care about the share price in the short term.

Best - IIPR. Bought in early 2018 at 37.79 and it was paying a $1 dividend. Fast forward 16 months and shares are trading at $101 (in the 120s last week) and it's paying $2.40 dividend

Best: Noble Energy, bought it in 2011 for around 30 and it went up to 80 something and split in 2013. Sold it after it broke 50 again.

Worst: Tortoise, bought them after the Noble sale at 45 and they have been in the 20's for the past 3 years

I'm very new to this but worst.

Worst: Got a couple free shares from Robinhood and sold them to buy 2 shares of Aurora at 9.36 a share and its down to like 6.70 now.

Best: Started working for an Ecolab company in August of 2018 and I have about 5 shares. It was ~147 a share when I started and has climbed to ~198 as of today.

Best: Amazon around $850. Still holding.

Worst: LNGLY. First and last time I get suckered into a scam stock on this board.
