I mean geeze. No idea a company as large and unsexy as WMT could be pumping out returns like this. Zoom to the all time chart it’s insane. Seeing its current valuations kinda makes me nervous. Screw all these tech companies should have just been buying WMT since the 80s. Damn!!

flight to safety as the market is anticipating a recession whether real or not. These cycles happen, just look at COSTCO and other "safe" stocks.

I sold a few last week. Still hold quite a bit. Not sure when it stops but feel like it may take a decade to grow into the multiple once it peaks.

Alot of hype, they doing great. Got the electric vans delivering walmart+ in my area now. I don't know how local grocers can try to compete with that.

Still probably over valued IMHO.

WMT is a bit of a head scratcher for me at these prices.

I see they’re down 8% premarket but they’re still trading at a higher trailing and forward PE than Amazon, which is insane.

I get it, but with the valuation coming in it would have basically been impossible to do well enough to appease the market IMO.

That actually sounds counter intuitive. How does Walmart compete with local grocers if they’re buying EVs to deliver low margin goods?

I think the poster championing Shopify is on to something. Pass that work off to the suckers that don’t realize how much it costs to operate their own equipment…profit.

EV's are supreme at short route city driving. Also you don't have to tip them anymore since they are door dashers.

Based on their forecast, looks like everything is about to tumble. Thanks Trump.
