Will all this VISA/Mastercard mess even matter in the future?

Don’t know how many of you know, but recently VISA and Mastercard as payment processors have been caving to an NGO (which they probably set up in the first place) to put pressure on marketplaces that allow content that is less than tasteful such as Steam. Things such as incest games etc.
Problem people are having is that these removals are being determined by payment processors and not the companies themselves AS WELL AS the fact that people who outright own some of these digital games are having them completely erased.
My question is, will this type of legal and financial bullying even matter in the immediate future when the whole payment system goes to the blockchain? Or will we STILL have to rely on companies like that to an extent?
I don’t know how much pull the payment processors have or will have in the crypto space but if they’re also able to do that in a payment system that is decentralized then just shoot me man.

Stablecoins are the solution to this problem.

This is something I wouldn’t mind the government sticking their grey hands into. Payment processors steal enough of our money. They shouldn’t be able to dictate what we can buy.
