The halving event normally causes a 4X in 12 to 18 months after the halving, but there are multiple pullbacks along the way including before, during and after.
I've been bullish ever since Bitcoin was below $1000 in 2016. I was even bullish after Bitcoin dropped from $69K to under $4K, although my wife was hating on me pretty good.
My metric was I believed in Bitcoin. I wanted to be rich and retire early from the prison called my career. I retired early 4 years ago.

Love it. I forget that there are other Bitcoin Maxis here besides myself.
I got in Spring of 2017 and have been buying since then.

When bitcoin was at 17,000, were you bullish?

Btc maxi here, much later than you guys. Covid radicalized me and my wife, read stacks of books on btc, macro, finance etc... during the pandemic, first bought at 48k. We were able to divest ourselves of a decent R/E portfolio during the bear and plowed it all into btc, moved back to Alabama last year after 25 years out west, currently semi-retired as we convert the last of our small business inventory into btc. Holding btc and sh!tposting online is so much less stressful than trying to keep the all the fiat plates we had aquired over the years spinning.

But what were you saying October 2021?
And what metrics to you use to value bitcoin versus the market value to see if the market has it over/under valued or “just right”?

Lack of faith in the US dollar and economy.
