The SBA site now says UP TO a $10000 grant. Way to change the fricking rules midstream SBA.
It's always said UP TO.

I think the assumption people had was the "up to" was based on the amount of the loan request, i.e. request at least 10K, get 10K advance grant.

I filled mine out last week, logged back in yesterday and they wanted more documents.
Got 3 of 4 uploaded yesterday and the site crashed on me until late last night.
I guess mine will be counted as applied for as of today.

How do you login? I applied without creating user name and password. At completion, I received notification that I would receive email if they needed anything further

More documents for what? PPP? EIDL loan? The grant didn't require any documentation when I filled out the form for it.
I can't fill out the EIDL application because the second page asks which type of disaster I'm filing for and it doesn't list COVID-19 relief. It only lists two floods.

Sorry EIDL loan, there's a SBA form 1386 that was for 2 year profit/loss projections that I had to download, fill out and upload. That's the one I had so much trouble with.
Other's were business plan, another forecasting spreadsheet tax returns, typical loan stuff.

Va, what county are you in?
I thought the program covered all 50 states and DC.
ETA: Now the option to apply that way for Louisiana is gone too. That's how I originally applied on 4/1/2020

Loudoun County, VA and it's listed as part of the program. However, when I put in the state and country on the site and hit next it then asks which disaster. The only two options are floods.
I just want a small EIDL loan too. Under $25k. This will ensure that with zero new business coming (not really likely) I can keep my people paid through July.

Have you ever borrowed from the SBA?
Read through this SBA Corona link
There is a $25K bridge loan that is available to "current SBA customers". Whatever that means.

Same. That's the one that ends with the bank information for the grant. I haven't been contacted to finish completing a loan application.
Never borrowed from the SBA before.

I swear I had to create an account when I did the application last week.
That's the only way I knew that I had to upload more documentation. No email, call, nothing. I logged in and looked.

I did create an account or I registered. Is this a link to a login? When I login to check status there's nothing there and if I click apply online it takes me to the page you linked.
Thanks.
Thanks.

Yeah, when I log in it gives me a application # and status text box.

Anyone call the help line? Probably waste of time

I just got off the phone with my dad. I helped him fill out a bunch of the things... about 40 or so... last week at night for his clients.
Nobody's gotten anything or heard anything. He said he just talked to one of his clients, who did his own who DID talk to the SBA and was told that if he hadn't heard anything by now, he wasn't going to and wasn't going to get any money. Said he asked her if she needed his application confirmation number or even the name and EIN of his business... nope. Just... if you don't have it yet, consider yourself denied and not getting anything.
I sincerely hope something was lost in the translation/misinterpreted... something.
