They have the same categories, chase puts less stuff on the og freedom vs. Flex though, like no 3% restaurants on freedom but is on the flex. The 5% categories and spending limits are the same. I have both and sometimes when it's a category with high spend for me I use both so I don't hit the $1500 max and have to stop.

Occasionally they do warehouse clubs as a 5% category which you can use the ig freedom at costco but not the flex since thats a Mastercard vs. The og freedom is a visa. That's when it really comes in handy
