Probably not exactly the correct board for this, but it seems like a few people who post here would know where to go for house plans in the Baton Rouge area. I have already been in contact with Acadian Home Design, but was wondering if there are any others I should look at.

We prefer the styles being built around Baton Rouge, but the local places here in MS are pretty limited in their choices on those types of plans. Thanks in advance.

Bonacorso and Associates on Old Jefferson Hwy.

I'd stay away from Pelican.

They have a # of good places in Btr...and some bad ones...

Lonnie does a good job, I had him do some for a couple houses I built for my sisters...

Most places have plans and if you can find one, make a few changes, you can save some money...
Let me know if you need some help, I do have a couple friends that do this...

Watch out for Andy McDonald designs...nice houses just hard to build.

Try Laura Morel in Baton Rouge...great architect and uses space in houses really well.

Al Jones... heir apparent to A. Hayes Town. He is selective with who he builds for. I think he imposes certain criteria. He builds masterpieces..

I kind of got the impression from the original poster he was looking for something more economical.
