Where is the best place to find a business investor?

I have been networking among friends and I have been looking on LinkedIn and have made many google searches without much luck. The business is a consumer loan company that has been open nine months and looking for an investor to open up multiple locations.

In college, I worked for a company in Baton Rouge that specifically partnered with small loan companies. I don't know the details of how the owner chose the companies, but send me an email (TDiambatman at gmail dot com) and I can send you the guys name and the name of the company.
