Have any of you started buying wfc again? Part of my strategy has been to buy into blue chip companies when they take a big hit, I'm just not sure what to expect regarding future penalties for wfc.

Sbux is down quite a bit and will raise dividend 10-20% here in November I'd rather that

I'll add that to my list. I generally keep a set amount of money on the sidelines that I can drop into these companies. As long as the companies are in different sectors I am comfortable with buying more than one at a time.

Wells Fargo has take a pretty serious reputation hit. The reason I say starbucks is bc they're down bc coffee prices have soared for the beans. I still dont believe the typical starbucks patron cares about price increases if/when needed and every damn store i see is packed all the time.

I'd probably wait until after they get hit by government penalties or fines to have a better idea of what I'm getting into. Right now, I don't know how much fallout there will be.

Makes sense, what are your thoughts on lumber liquidators. I bought a small amount at about $15 and sold on the surge. I'm debating buying and holding.

I followed LL for a long time and remember it being in the $12's last time I saw it. Unfortunately I forgot about it but was going to buy options a year out or more. I figure I would have done quite well had I remembered...

It would probably be worthwhile to check out some local stores. If they have a decent amount of customers in there, they should be okay in the long run assuming no new issues arise.

KR has been getting killed lately too.

Opened a small position in KR last week at $30.78. Grocers across the board are getting hit hard and I like their growth potential over the next 10 years. It'll remain ugly in the interim while the big boys plod through the price wars, but I see KR coming out fine on the other side.

Holding off wfc longer, thinking there is still some bad news out there. Once there are hints of raising interest rates again, I expect it to move quickly
