Warren is simply wrong about this topic from a macro economic perspective. He may be correct from a BRK standpoint.
His public support of BHO should be a conditional statement for every press release, interview, etc. that he does.
For decades, other nations have abused this nation as to tariffs. We have abused other nations as to the removal of the gold standard.
I believe Trump and his team want to get some support for the dollar and make par the tariff situation.

Buffet > Trump. Everyday, twice on Sundays.

It's funny how he had the opposite opinion and even wrote about it in Forbes in 2003. Heck, if you search for it, the article is hosted on the Berkshire website. I'm guessing he changed his mind circa 2016 even though all of the tariffs enacted then were kept by the subsequent administration.

As I said, FOMO is powerful but still not sound. There’s nothing there. The only thing I appreciate about it is that its growth is limited, but limited growth of something that has no intrinsic value still has no intrinsic value. I guess I should have said that it has moved into the mainstream and so people are giving it more respect than it deserves. I’m fine missing out on it, but good luck to others.
