Beertending at a Brewhouse
Both pay very well, and you can set your own schedule.

Flipping to me is the easiest. I do a bit of everything, but mostly vintage toys. The margins are great, next to no overhead. Sourcing can be problematic. I will cross $250K in sales this year. Net profit should be around $85K
Damn, that sounds like a full time job! I know it takes me a ton of time, but I love doing it and have always done it. Do you run it as a 1099?
I stick mainly to clothes, sports equipment, & household items. I launched a digital consignment business on the side in an affluent area. It's amazing what people throw away when they are moving.

Got a link on how to learn more about this or purchase? Is it something directly thru Amazon?
im curious about these mysterious auction pallets too
Not sure where you guys are located but Google Liquidation Auctions in or around your city.
looked into this with not much luck for actual local stuff. im in new Orleans. any advice on how to narrow down that search or go to locators for auctions?
this sounds like a fun hobby with potential for money.

Yes it is all 1099 and Schedule C. Sales are mainly through ebay, mercari, and facebook groups, but I do two or three shows a year as well which are very profitable.
I spend about 15 hours a week looking for inventory, 10 hours listing, and probably 5 hours ferrying sold item to my shipper. Luckily I am self employed, and am to the point where I have built the business, and I just let it work, so I can do most of my side hustle alongside with my typical daily responsibilities.
I have outsourced most of my packaging to a pack and ship store. They charge me a flat per order price. I am able to pass most of that cost on to my customers. If I had to package 250 plus orders a week I would have to stop doing it.

Driving for Uber is probably the most underrated way to get straight to money.

These are almost always a scam. If the pallet is accessible to you, it's accessible to anyone and has already been picked of valuable items. Individual pallets have probably been sold three times by the time they get to people buying one at a time. Each time, the seller has picked what they wanted and repackaged the rest. You'll get broken vacuum cleaners and $10 toasters.

Retired government worker.
Sold my lawn mower repair and hardware stores.
I like diesel mechanic work and working a few days a week doing that for a friends shop. When I first got into the work went to diesel mechanic school during the day while I worked full time at night. Worked par time for a Truck dealer in the 1980’s. Yes, I can diagnose issues using Cummins insite and other programs. Hate electrical trouble shooting that is apart of the game.
At this point I don’t need the money. It gives me something to do and it my way to keep my mind active.
