I'm only intimately familiar with Ally, but I'm certainly not selling it

For each one, look and make sure they aren't going to charge you account maintenance fees, fees to transfer funds from that account back to your checking account, check the availability of check deposit via smartphone if that's something you're into, etc, etc.

Can just look here:

Save time. I just keep my emergency fund in a money market account, stay away from CD's.

I just noticed that I was consistently using the wrong ticker symbol. I was referring to the non admiral VLACX as opposed to the intended VLCAX. Damned Sunday morning posting

I thought this was about Vanguard ETFs? The simplest thing is just choose VT, total world fund that would automatically rebalance for you. Or you could buy VXUS & VTI separately for similar coverage. I like separate to tax loss harvest, set stop losses if desired, can overweight depending on which is significantly undervalued, etc. Then again seeking simplicity over better functionality has never been high on my agenda.

Bump...

I went ahead and got in on the previously discussed fund. Now looking to diversify internationally.

I'm looking at

VINEX and VWIGX

Any opinions on either one? Both have 10yr growth over 8% with VINEX having over 10%. Only thing that stood out to me was the expense ratio at .41%, but that looks like its about in line with international funds?

Any opinions?

Why not Vtsmx? it has a very low ER, especially once you get into admiral, and is almost on par with the ones you are speaking of?
