Was searching for some MBA threads and came across this one. I am in a similar situation as the poster above looking to make a change.
I've been working for 6 years after college, 2 different jobs. While it is working experience, it's not necessarily management experience. I would like to make a change; my current job is just that: a job. Not utilizing any particular educational skills. I'd like to get with some sort of consulting company, but don't have much to offer them. I figured getting an MBA would help that a little. Then I run into the issue of paying for it. Quitting and doing school full-time isn't really much of an option.
I saw Wolf of Wall street a few weeks ago, and it makes me want to do like the guy and go to some of these companies and tell them I'll quit my current job just for a chance.
Anybody have any suggestions?
