I have covered calls out on all my shares expiring this friday at $125 strike. I'm thinking I will be alright if I let those get called. I'm kind of scared to hold through earnings given what happened last time.

it fell last Q on the reveal that they'd lost tiktok due to government interference. we will have to see what happens this time

If anyone wants to help me make sense of this I'd appreciate it. They claim their "proprietary earnings prediction model" predicts a bad earnings report, but then the article says things like:

I haven’t found any news to explain the recent sell off... other than players taking off some risk going into earnings. Have you seen anything on the fundamental or technical side that I’m not picking up?

Yeah, I just saw NET. So far, even with the miss, it’s still within the expected range based on options pricing. I noticed that FSLY has a much wider expected range for next week than NET has for this week, and a slightly higher implied vol.
I’m not crazy about getting shares put to me at 107, but I might come in with some more short puts for 2/19 in the 88 or so range. If they both hit, FSLY looks like a good (at least) medium term hold that I could trade around.
