Seriously, when talking hundreds of thousands for 1 piece of equipment, or a million $ line of credit for a producation loan, it's best that I let him handle that part of it.
Otherwise, I'd have a breakdown. He's REALLY one of the best farmers around both in production and mangement ... we've NEVER not been able to pay a loan off while so many are YEARS behind and not even farming anymore.
He is a well educated farmer ... BS and MS in Ag/Horticulture but he loves what he does and again, my not talking money does our marriage a world of good.
Now our personal finances are a different story. And I know "some" about the farm but I don't know 100% ... if you were in our shoes you would understand.
Flask, did your mom know the $$ side of it all???
