This has been a rough ride. Im sitting on 400 shares with a cost basis in the 600's. Im selling calls to earn premium while I wait, but Im thinking there will be more bad news in the near future. Where there's smoke, there's fire. Im starting to think it may be time to cut losses and move on...

Man, I am in a similar situation. I've never had to cut losses at this magnitude, and I am okay with riding it out for however long it takes to get near green. But every day I am wondering if I should just cut my losses. It would fricking suck, but damn.

My belief is we past the Inflated Expectations of AI. It hit hard over the past two years. My hope is we are through the trough now as well. AI has not even got it's legs yet really, so we could still be on the initial Hype and not even peaked.

2025 is going to be a bigger year for AI than 23 or 24. Chat models were a good intro, and they are evolving quickly and making their way into everything. The visual and audio mediums are going to be the next revolution though. It will be interesting to see how they try to hold back the advancement, however those will win. I watched a recent video from Warden Cinematics on how they produce those 1950s versions of modern movies. All AI driven.

Don’t kick a man when he’s down.

I’m still holding shares. Some part of me thinks if they can find a way out of their current situation, SMCI will run up and run up fast. But I’m very nervous that where there’s smoke, there is fire with these recent allegations ans delayed 10k.

Time will tell.

Not trying to. Just wasn’t sure if your math was messed up with the split or something.

Good luck

SMCI and NVDA are doing their job to keep me green for the day

They released some good news it appears on shipment data and record revenue for Q4 2024.

Hindenburg may have been truthful, but it is still a hit piece to maximize their short interest, frick those guys

SMCI is not tanking, maybe just not going to have the crazy run of 8 months ago. I still stick to the general public and investors have yet to wrap their heads around what AI will actually be. We are spending more time trying to hold it back, than unleash it right now. When they drop the chains and let it fly, buckle up. It is not going to be a bad thing for the generic public, but it is going to hurt some sectors. Two areas that will get most impacted are on opposing sides of the spectrum. It will change the technology world, however it was also gut the artistic side of civilization.

I bought SMCI at $348, sold at over $900, when it dipped in early August I thought I got a steal when I bought on the "dip" in early August.. then the shenanigans happened

I'll just be happy to break even at this point

This is hopefully through the wave of negative. Last 2 months have been quiet.

SMCI has a big wave of orders coming in. I can't see this being down low forever. I think it will catch back up to previous ATH by year end.
