Wall Street typically likes layoffs.

And if the layoffs, which happened today, is the reason why you want to "short" then it's too late

This will be seen as a positive. DIS being up tomorrow wouldn’t surprise me.

I would be willing to bet that at least 80% of people wanting to “short” a stock have no idea how to do it, and 100% of those people would be better off not even considering it

cgrand you are exactly right. I have options available to me but prefer not to touch them because i got burned in the past. The majority of us on here are probably entry level investors but this place has taught me a thing or two. I really appreciate you guys that have been doing this for a while. With that said i only use my play money to buy stocks

I think their digital venture is crushing it so I wouldn’t be surprised to see them up big after next earnings call.

Unless you have big pockets (and even bigger balls), along with a LOT of experience with shorting and margin requirements, you best avoid that play, IMO.

Play with a small options position that won't break you, if you REALLY feel strongly about making a move.

Really? Why? That seems foolish. Purchasing shares in companies is the best way to build wealth through investing.
