I am 50 years old and need to invest $65000 in IRA money. I would like to hear what funds you peeps recommend...

not enough info in your post for anyone to give a reasonable recommendation. Need to know time horizon, risk tolerance, goals for the money (growth vs. preservation of capital vs. retirement income vs. hand down to kids in estate etc), portfolio allocation of other accounts if applicable. Not really an easy question to answer without more deets

In this case, can't go wrong with a US total market, low expense fund like VTSAX or FSKAX

Warren Buffet says an S&P 500 fund. He has a pretty good track record to say the least. Thais morning I added VT ETF. Total world market index with 0.07 fees.

Highest rated Vanguard was my go to over 30 years and have done well
I always looked at Berkshire Hathaway as mutual fund (done best with it)
I'd split 3-4 ways in different highly rated products
