Revenues - expenditures = surplus/deficit.

Liar. I just said I am for tax cuts and spending cuts. If we are cutting taxes 4.5 trillion over 10 year period, cut spending 4.5 trillion over that same period.

I have had two of my brokers pushing me to increase my International positions this year before this rout. I was very skeptical but they talked me into it. Wow...they have earned their keep. Not only have these investment not fallen with the rest of my portfolio they have appreciated nicely. My US Reality is still doing well also. Its good to be diversified.
Of course my two S&P accounts have been sucking hind tit.

These big brokerage firms have been pushing international funds for 20 years and those things have been dogs compared to the U.S. until about 6 weeks ago. About time they started doing something.

On this site, I’m a card carrying communist. IRL, I’m a centrist with a leftist lean. I’ve voted for Dems and Republicans in national, state, and local elections. I’m a pragmatist. Good policy is good policy.
Trump is an unmitigated disaster. It’s beyond me this incompetent narcissist was reelected. Harris sucked, but Jfc, she wouldn’t be making enemies with fricking Canadians, have unelected Elon running the government, or change her mind on tariffs 17 times in 2 months.

My only complaint is the back and forth on the tariffs. I wish he’d just commit one way or the other. Elon campaigned with Trump. His participation was fully conveyed prior to Election Day. I think DC is a cesspool and I’m glad that he’s carving it up. The administrative state is the unelected class that I have disdain for.
