Can I get the dumbed down version of the easiest way to get XRP? I looked at a site Bitstamp and they want social security number, picture id, etc and I'm not comfortable with all that.

alright guys, bought into Ripple earlier... now have 400 XRP. What am I looking at? I bought on binance.
Should I just hold onto it long term? Does Ripple have the chance to jump into the hundreds, or is it limited? (I know it isn't mined, and I'm just not sure what that means for the future)
If it's going to actually be announced for coinbase, could there be a run-up to that announcement like bitcoin cash had, and if so, should I sell before it? The announcement seems to have hurt bitcoin cash more than help so far... etc.
Also sorry for the questions, I've never put anything into alts before, this is kinda terrifying (I've also never left the comfort of coinbase)

I’ve deposited my btc to gdax. I’m having problems figuring out Binance’s 2-step google authentication now. Can someone give me a quick run down?

You can use an SMS (text) verify on Binance or the Google Authenticator if you prefer.
If you want to use the authenticator then download the google authenticator from the app store and put it on your phone. Then open the app and manually enter the 2FA code or scan the barcode. Once you do that the code will be linked to the authenticator app for you to open at any time to get the proper code to enter and log into your Binance account.
Btw, you do not have to verify your Binance account if you're dealing in smaller-midsize increments since an unverified account supports up to 2 BTC withdrawal per 24hr which based on current prices is about $28-30k.

How do you boys play the swings? I bought xrp .72
Xrp went to 1.2 and 1.32 last night currents back in .90 range. Do you suggest just holding and riding or selling some off at highs? Then buying low when it goes to .90 or lower?

Just let it sit and forget about it.
I'm pretty new to the crypto currency game and I found myself constantly trying to buy and sell in the beginning getting nowhere. My original intention was to invest a small amount and walk away but it's fun to sit there abd shuffle money around on different coins. I'm sticking with ripple, Iota, verge & Tron and letting them ride now.

Followed the guide, well done. So the 1st transaction takes close to 2 weeks for my first purchase of LTC on coinbase. Damn. Is that normal? So at this point, once that is confirmed, do all transactions on GDAX for the lower fees, is that the main reason? Then if I want to do some XRP or BTSC, these need to be done on binance or some alt exchange?
Once I link to GDAX, if I want to add funds, do I add to the GDAX account or do I still need to use coinbase for anything?

I am in on Ripple. A lot of mixed opinions. I am not sure you can translate traditional financial ratios to crypto. Bitcoin has the general use market. I try and find niche coins to dump money into. Ripple being one. If it can capture the banking market, that will drive the price up.
