I have this posted in the OT but I thought I would try here as well..I'm looking to move back closer to home, Houston or New Orleans. I have a great job out here in Cali but would prefer to be back home. Can anyone suggest good recruiters or head hunters in the Houston or New Orleans areas?
Im in the commodities business (Power and Natural Gas)
Thanks

I'd try Michael Page or Selby Jennings. I know people who have luck with both and as a gas trader we seem to be in the same function. Good luck. Houston is probably going to be your best bet.

Thanks! I will give both of them a shot.

What do you do? trade/risk? IM in Houston and it seems like a bunch of companies are hiring at the moment. Depending on your experience, I wouldnt think it would be very hard to find something.

I know Sempra was looking for a meterologist not too long ago. Those guys who work for trading/energy firms do really well.

Bay
I think it was in CA. Go to the Sempra website and see if its still posted. I have seen several other postings I just can't remember where. If I run across them I will try to track you down on TD.

Check out Direct Energy. They just moved their HQ from to Houston from Toronto and are hiring like crazy.

I may be able to put you in touch with a recruiter there if you'd like to try that route, rather than applying online. Let me know if you're interested.
